How we build our estimates
- We start from the official 7th CPC pay matrix and the allowance rules in force today (DA 60%).
- We apply the fitment factor you choose and round revised pay to the nearest ₹100, as the 7th CPC did.
- Where the 8th CPC has not decided something, we assume the 7th CPC rules continue and say so on the page.
- News items carry a date and a link to their source. Union demands and projections are labelled, never shown as decisions.
